Job Overview:

As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you’ll work at the intersection of software development and IT operations, ensuring seamless integration, delivery, and deployment of applications and infrastructure using AWS and DevOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments across environments
• Automate infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
• Manage and monitor AWS resources (EC2, ECS, EKS, RDS, Lambda, S3, etc.)
• Implement logging, monitoring, and alerting using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, ELK, or Datadog
• Ensure application and infrastructure security, compliance, and backups
• Optimize performance, availability, and cost of AWS environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve deployment and environment issues
• Collaborate closely with development, QA, and security teams

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 2–5+ years of hands-on experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on AWS
• Strong knowledge of AWS services and architecture best practices
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or GitHub Actions
• Experience with infrastructure automation using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
• Hands-on scripting experience (Bash, Python, etc.)
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, EKS)
• Solid understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and firewalls in cloud environments
• Experience with version control (Git) and branching strategies

Nice to Have:

• AWS Certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect)
• Experience with serverless architecture and tools (Lambda, API Gateway, SAM)
• Familiarity with security tools and DevSecOps practices
• Knowledge of agile development and release cycles
• Experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments
