Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented GeM Portal Executive to manage and oversee activities related to the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. The role involves handling end-to-end operations, ensuring compliance, and managing bids and tenders related to AV and digital signage solutions.


1. GeM Portal Management:

  • Register and maintain the organizations profile on the GeM portal.
  • Update product/service catalogs, certifications, and other relevant details.

2. Tender Management:

  • Search, evaluate, and respond to relevant tenders and bids on the GeM portal.
  • Prepare and submit competitive bids, ensuring compliance with tender specifications.
  • Follow up on submitted bids and coordinate with internal teams for approvals and documentation.

3. Order Processing:

  • Process purchase orders received via the GeM portal and ensure timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with the logistics, operations, and finance teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.

4. Compliance and Documentation:

  • Ensure adherence to GeM guidelines, rules, and regulations.
  • Maintain all documentation related to tenders, bids, and transactions on the portal.

5. Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and government departments via the GeM portal.
  • Address queries and resolve issues related to GeM operations.

6. Reporting:

  • Prepare regular reports on tender status, bid success rates, and portal activities for management review.

Key Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in managing GeM portal operations, preferably in the AV or digital signage industry.

Skills:


  • Proficiency in GeM portal operations and tender submission processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with AV and digital signage products and services is an advantage.
