Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and customer-oriented Operations Support Specialist – Cloud to join our team. In this role, you will be the frontline in supporting our customers cloud environments, handling technical issues, ensuring uptime, and providing operational assistance for cloud-based services and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of cloud platforms and a passion for solving customer problems with efficiency and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide L1/L2 support for cloud-based services, infrastructure, and applications (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
  • Monitor system health, performance, and availability using cloud-native and third-party monitoring tools.
  • Respond to customer tickets, troubleshoot incidents, and provide timely resolution or escalation to higher support tiers.
  • Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to resolve complex technical issues.
  • Assist in provisioning, configuring, and maintaining cloud resources and services.
  • Document known issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures for the knowledge base.
  • Ensure SLA compliance and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call support rotations as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of experience in technical support, cloud operations, or IT infrastructure support.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with cloud networking, storage, compute, and monitoring tools.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a customer-centric approach.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, or equivalent.
  • Experience with ticketing systems like ServiceNow, Jira, or Zendesk.
  • Basic scripting knowledge (Bash, PowerShell, Python) for automation or monitoring tasks.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices is a plus (e.g., Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible).
  • Experience in a 24x7 production environment or NOC is an advantage.
