We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer – Systems to join our core engineering team responsible for building scalable, reliable, and high-performance system-level software. You will work on complex software problems that require deep knowledge of operating systems, networking, multithreading, and distributed systems. The ideal candidate is passionate about system design, performance optimization, and creating foundational software that powers mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize low-level system components including services, libraries, and tools.
• Build scalable, reliable, and maintainable infrastructure software for internal and external use.
• Contribute to the architecture and design of core platform components including storage systems, network layers, or compute frameworks.
• Analyze system bottlenecks and improve performance, efficiency, and resilience of software services.
• Write high-quality, well-tested, and well-documented code with a focus on performance and correctness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, DevOps, security engineers, and QA.
• Review code, mentor junior engineers, and drive best practices in software engineering.
• Stay current with system-level advancements and apply them to continuously improve the platform.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in systems or infrastructure software development.
• Strong proficiency in system-level programming languages such as C, C++, Rust, or Go.
• Solid understanding of operating systems, memory management, I/O subsystems, concurrency, and networking.
• Experience building large-scale distributed systems or low-latency/high-throughput infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Linux/Unix system internals and debugging tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a passion for performance optimization.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), kernel modules, or virtualization.
• Exposure to cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) or hybrid environments.
• Contributions to open-source system software projects are a plus.
• Knowledge of modern observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, tracing frameworks).
