We are seeking a detail-oriented and creative Technical Author to create clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for our products and services. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and support teams to translate complex technical concepts into accessible content for a variety of audiences including developers, end-users, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, API documentation, how-to guides, installation/configuration instructions, and FAQs.
• Work with engineering and product teams to understand new features and document them accurately.
• Organize and structure content in a logical and consistent manner to improve usability and comprehension.
• Create diagrams, screenshots, and other visuals to enhance written content.
• Edit and revise existing documentation for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
• Ensure all documentation complies with brand and style guidelines.
• Manage documentation repositories using tools such as Git, Confluence, or a content management system (CMS).
• Incorporate feedback from users and stakeholders to continuously improve documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Technical Writer/Author or similar role.
• Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and explain them in simple terms.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with documentation tools such as Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, MadCap Flare, or online platforms like Confluence, GitBook, or ReadTheDocs.
• Familiarity with markup languages (Markdown, HTML, XML) and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience writing documentation for software, APIs, cloud services, or hardware products.
• Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., Python, JavaScript, C++).
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development processes.
• Experience with video tutorials or multimedia content creation.
