• Operate Plant pathology Laboratory.
• Work with SOPs on diseases / Instruments / Processes.
• Screening / in-vitro assays for genetic resistance.
• Travel and perform field experiments on regular basis.
• Design & execute experimental, data analysis & reports.


Preferred candidate profile


Qualifications: MSc Agriculture in Plant Pathology
• 0-1 years of work experience on forest trees diseases.
• Fresher’s specialized in Plant Pathology can also apply.


Knowledge
• Strong domain knowledge in plant pathology reflecting in academic merits.
• Host parasite interactions in plants.
• Statistical designs and data analysis.
Skills:
• Plant disease diagnosis techniques.
• Pathogen isolation, culture and characterization skills
• Host genetic resistance screening techniques.
• Travel to fields (AP & Telangana) & conduct experiments.
• Molecular techniques & genome sequence analysis
• Field operations and experimental designs in forestry.
• Varietal/clonal development processes.
• Disease control in AgroForestry/ Agriculture/Horticulture
