About the Role
You’ll build real-time control firmware for flight computers, sensor fusion units, and power-management systems for ePlane’s electric aircraft.
Key Responsibilities
• Write and optimize embedded C/C++ code for ARM-based MCUs.
• Integrate sensors: IMU, GNSS, barometer, LiDAR, magnetometer.
• Develop communication protocols (CAN, UART, I2C, SPI).
• Work with autopilot frameworks (PX4, Ardupilot, ROS).
• Implement failsafes, redundancy systems & emergency landing protocols.
• Flight log analysis, debugging, and continuous firmware improvements.
• Collaborate with hardware teams on PCB design feedback.
Required Skills
• Strong embedded programming fundamentals.
• Experience with real-time OS (RTOS) and bare-metal coding.
• Comfort with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers & hardware debugging.
• Understanding of drone/autonomous system architecture is a plus.
• Good grasp of Kalman filtering or sensor fusion is highly valued.
