• Your mission is to significantly improve the customer experience through defining and integrating a simple set of features and services that will be used in our new customer propositions across Retail.
• You ll be leveraging our Core Banking Platform (CAP) and a new cross-product layer (Zafin) to define what is possible from a product, pricing, bundling, rewards, and billing perspective.
• You ll also help integrate these capabilities into the current ANZ landscape and ensure both the new, and current propositions work in parallel.
• You ll be involved in writing complex designs to cater to the business requirements - be it new or enhancement to an existing function and take it through build implementation and providing warranty support leveraging various tools we use in the system.
• Build Hogan / CAP solutions that are simple, effective and efficient.
• Working collaboratively with other Hogan Engineers, across ANZx and Core Systems, to ensure our solutions work effectively across ANZ

What will you bring

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

• Design and build Core Banking solutions using the Hogan Loans application -
• Proven analytical skills and evidence-based decision making
• Proven skills in Hogan Mainframe Engineering involving expertise in Mainframe technologies - Cobol, IMS, DB2
• Expertise in other supporting tools such as Git Hub, iDZ, Postman / Hoppscotch Desktop, Control-M etc
• Expertise in building RESTful APIs
• Strong understanding of the current Retail product environment and the underlying technologies, with a focus on lending
• A creative, customer-focused mindset with a passion for radically simplifying complex processes and issues
• Good understanding of how to get things done in a large organisation
• Willingness to question the status quo, and energised by building new customer solutions and making improvements to existing value propositions.
• Ability to challenge yourself and the business on the value that will be delivered to customers

• Knowledge of Integrated Loans processing - especially in the functional areas not limited to Application Drawdown, Transaction processing, General Ledger balancing, billing, payment processing etc

Good to have knowledge, skills and experiences:

• Prior ANZx knowledge
• Knowledge in the functional aspects of Redraw, Product Set Off and how It functions at ANZ
• Production Support experience and the processes involved on how to handle / manage incidents
