Job Description

1. LTE Packet Core & Signaling

  • Operate and support LTE packet core elements (e.g., MME, SGW, PGW), IMS, VoLTE, including Diameter/SIP protocols. Monitor call flows and troubleshoot signaling/VoIP issues using tools like Wireshark & Netscout
  • Serve as Tier‑2/3 escalation point for critical incidents via NOC systems and ticketing tools such as ServiceNow

2. RAN (Radio Access Network) Support

  • Provide support for eNodeBs, RU/CU/DU elements, including site commissioning, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
  • Validate radio KPIs like RSRP, RSRQ, SINR, perform drive tests, and conduct feature verification for LTE/VoLTE services

3. Lab Integration & Testing

  • Set up lab environments for LTE feature validation, integration testing, and proof-of-concept trials. Maintain UE device compatibility and software builds .

4. Monitoring & Incident Management

  • Oversee network KPIs, alarms, outages, and degradations. Generate performance reports and escalate issues as needed .
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call shifts, collaborate with cross-functional teams during outages or escalations

5. Automation & Scripting

  • Develop scripts (Python, Bash, Perl, C/C++) for automation of monitoring, KPI collection, diagnostics, or lab tasks. Work within Linux/Unix environments .

6. Documentation & Training

  • Draft runbooks, SOPs, technical guides, network diagrams, and reports. Provide training to staff and clients .

7. Field & Customer Support (Optional)

  • Execute remote or onsite support: install/configure LTE equipment, perform system integration, and deliver customer training/demos .
