Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement performance test plans, scripts, and scenarios using Apache JMeter.
• Analyze system performance across load, stress, spike, endurance, and scalability testing.
• Identify performance bottlenecks, root causes, and work closely with development and DevOps teams for resolution.
• Develop reusable and modular JMeter test scripts for APIs, web applications, and backend services.
• Monitor and analyze test results using tools like JMeter, Grafana, InfluxDB, or other APM tools (e.g., New Relic, Dynatrace).
• Generate detailed performance test reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and stakeholders to define performance benchmarks and SLAs.
• Integrate performance testing into CI/CD pipelines where applicable.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in performance testing, with hands-on experience using Apache JMeter.
• Strong understanding of web technologies, HTTP/S protocols, APIs (REST/SOAP), and database interactions.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Groovy, Shell, Python) is a plus.
• Familiarity with version control tools like Git and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with performance monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Kibana, ELK stack).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Exposure to other performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, Gatling, Locust) is an added advantage.
• ISTQB or other QA-related certifications.
