Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Engineer / Senior Engineer – QMS & Audits is responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS). The role includes planning and conducting internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with ISO standards (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100), driving corrective/preventive actions, and supporting cross-functional quality initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s QMS in accordance with applicable standards and customer requirements.
• Plan, schedule, and conduct internal audits to verify compliance with QMS and identify areas for improvement.
• Coordinate and support external audits (certification, customer, regulatory) including audit readiness, documentation, and follow-up.
• Drive closure of non-conformities and monitor effectiveness of corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Maintain and update quality documentation (procedures, manuals, work instructions, forms).
• Ensure company-wide compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, or other relevant standards.
• Lead or support initiatives for QMS improvement, risk management, and process standardization.
• Provide QMS-related training and awareness sessions to internal teams.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers, and certifying bodies regarding quality system issues and audits.
• Support document control and change management processes.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical / Industrial / Quality or related field).
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in QMS and audits (preferably in manufacturing or automotive sectors).
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, or other relevant standards.
• Certified Internal Auditor or Lead Auditor (preferred).
• Experience in planning and executing internal audits and handling third-party/customer audits.
• Familiarity with quality tools: 8D, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, etc.
• Strong documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software (if applicable).
• Good communication and cross-functional coordination skills.
