Roles and responsibilities

Assisting in Development:

Trainees participate in the design, coding, and testing of software applications. They might be assigned specific tasks or work on smaller components of larger projects. 

Learning & Mentorship:

They work closely with senior engineers, receiving mentorship and guidance on best practices, coding standards, and software development methodologies. 

Troubleshooting & Debugging:

Trainees learn to identify and resolve software issues, debugging code and contributing to the overall quality of the software. 

Code Review & Documentation:

They participate in code reviews, gaining feedback on their work and learning to write clean, well-documented code. 

Agile Practices:

They might participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and other Agile ceremonies, gaining exposure to collaborative development practices. 

Continuous Learning:

Trainees are expected to learn new technologies and frameworks as needed for project work and to stay updated on industry trends. 

Problem-Solving:

They develop problem-solving skills by contributing to the resolution of technical challenges and participating in troubleshooting efforts. 

Collaboration:

They collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., designers, QA) to understand project requirements and contribute to project goals.
